Der Compound is a 40 acre tract of pristine land bordering both sides of the Kashwitna River. It is a 2 hour car ride north of Anchorage accessible only by ATV or snowmachine. All participants are building their own unique shelter, with community efforts working towards a wood fired hot tub, sweatlodge, etc.
